2011 Market Review

So in the year the Olympics come to the UK, there are also many other positive outlooks when it comes to the property market. The low
interest rates and the low cost of borrowing look set to continue into the New Year, for those in a position to invest in property there are good
returns to be made, so act now to take advantage of these excellent conditions.

It’s fair to say that 2011 has been eventful. Many of the negative New Year predictions have not fully materialised to the same extent as first envisaged, a fact that can only be positive. We have found that forecasted drops in property prices have not transpired across the M3/M4 corridor as expected, in actual fact we have been extremely successful in selling our clients properties in a relatively short space of time throughout the year. Prices certainly haven’t risen, however 2011 has seen stable property prices across the region.

Business across the Prospect Group has remained buoyant and has allowed growth plans to go ahead as intended for 2011; Our on-going investment in technology has continued to include a cloud based bespoke office software throughout our network of offices - giving our staff the ability to stay connected at all times even when out of the office; our Camberley office which opened at the end of 2010 has had a thriving first year and our Wokingham office has had a complete refurbishment to provide a more comfortable and inviting interior that is our popular café style design.

We have also been listening to you, our clients and in January we will be launching our new improved website. We have upgraded many aspects including new and relevant search criteria, an easier layout for navigating the site, a more in depth and comprehensive look at each and every property and more hints, tips and helpful advice whether you are selling, buying, letting or renting!

All of this, we believe will enable us to provide the service our clients demand and expect from us for 2012.
