Ryan Graydon, Branch Manager

I joined Prospect in April 2009, starting at our head office in Reading, after working for another estate agent. Within my first day I realised that everything I had learnt from my previous company was not going to help me, Prospect was on another level and I haven’t looked back since.

Over the 6 years I have worked for Prospect, I have been promoted 5 times; from Client Manager to Senior Client Manager in 2010, then moving to our Winnersh Office as Assistant Manager in 2011 and in 2012 I was promoted to Branch Manager. Finally in 2014, my most recent promotion was becoming Branch Manager in Camberley.

All of which has been made possible by the right training, excellent opportunities and the daily support and mentorship from the company’s Directors.

I love the working environment within the company, the interaction with my clients, my colleagues, the challenge of the competition, and being surrounded by similar minded individuals who are all driving to be successful and to not only further themselves but also maintain the company’s high service standards and customer services.

All of this hard work hasn't come without its rewards and I have been lucky enough to win several inter office competitions, being taken out for breakfast and shopping for a new suit, Quarterly awards – to the Ascot Races, to see Lee Evans Live, go karting and sailing around the Solent , as well as Yearly awards with Skiing in St Anton, Austria, Mexcico, Cancun and my favourite partying in Las Vegas!!!

I can honestly say that without Prospect in my life I would not have had the guidance or support to help me get to where I am in or outside of work. If you are looking for a career rather than just a job, in a company where you are more than just a number but treated as an individual, where success and earnings are limitless then Prospect is the only choice!

Roberto Contreras, Branch Manager

I joined Prospect Estate Agency in June 2007 after working for another town centre agent. After meeting with one of the Directors, it was an easy decision for me to make and one that I have never looked back on.

It is amazing to see that all of the plans that Prospect had for me and for the company itself have happened. If you are an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking individual, then there really are opportunities at Prospect to progress your career and be successful.

In the eight years that I have worked for Prospect I have been promoted five times to get to my current position as Area Manager and I have won numerous awards and have been on some amazing annual trips.

Prospect has provided me with the correct training, support and opportunities to make this happen. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities given to me.

It really is a privilege to manage our most successful and our founding office in Bracknell. My local knowledge comes not just from the time that I have worked in the area, but having lived and grown up here.

I am extremely happy to work here, as I only want to work for the best estate agent, who will provide the best customer service. Work is a big part of my life and enjoying my job and respecting the company that I work for has truly had a positive effect on me as a person.

Hanna Forrest, Marketing Manager

I joined Prospect Estate Agency in January 2008, after working for some time in retail. Initially, I worked at the Crowthorne office as an Administrator where I was able to train and gain experience in estate agency within one of our smaller offices.

After five months of training and working closely with the Directors, I was transferred to the Wokingham office, providing support within a much busier environment. I took on greater responsibilities and soon became more involved in different areas of the company. I enjoy being a team player and as a result, I was given the chance to take on some project work, including the relocation of the Wokingham branch.

Since I have been at Prospect, I have been promoted seven times and I'm now working as the Marketing Manager at our busy head office in Reading town centre.

My current role comes with great responsibility and includes managing all the marketing distributed by offices, our online presence, as well as working closely with the Directors on new innovations and services.

It is fantastic to have been given the opportunity to progress to a key role within the marketing team, which was fundamentally down to the training and progression offered by Prospect, as well as their keen eye for people with talent in other areas opposed to Estate Agency.

I am also very grateful to have won many Awards since joining, including all expenses paid trips to Royal Ascot, days sailing on the Solent and also Annual Awards trips to both Las Vegas and St Anton for skiing.

Prospect always make me feel valued and I have been given so many opportunities to learn new skills and to progress. I love the company and the team and am so grateful for the opportunities that I have been given.

I truly enjoy coming to work every day, which makes a massive difference to my life and is not something that everyone can say about their job.

Shannon Smith
Lettings Client Manager

Shannon Smith, Client Manager

I joined Prospect in April 2011 initially in the sales team and  after 18 months I transferred to Letting, which I love. Before joining Prospect I trained as a hairdresser straight from school, worked in the hotel industry for a couple of different 5* hotels.

My role as a Senior Lettings Client Manager in the Bracknell branch is to train any new starters within the office and oversee the other negotiators working days. I book viewings, negotiate offers, do all admin work, sign off deal files for other negotiators in the branch, chase through referencing, book valuations and conduct valuations if the Valuer is already booked or on holiday.

My career has progressed from starting as a complete trainee and I have attended a number of courses and had extensive on the job training for my Manager and peers. I have also just completed my final ARLA unit and so am now ARLA qualified!!

I have won pretty much every Quarterly Award I have been able to since I started, both in Sales and Lettings and have been on days out on luxury boats in the Solent and trips to London with the other winners, which is a great way of getting to know my colleagues in other offices.

I have also won two Annual Awards going to Marbella and Cancun in Mexico on all expense paid holidays, which is definitely a great perk of the job!  I have had a company car since passing my probation, initially a mini and now I really enjoy driving my BMW 1 series coupe!

Darren Winter

Darren Winter, Sales Valuer

I joined Prospect Estate Agency in Bracknell, in September 2011, as a Trainee Negotiator, never having worked in estate agency before. My previous career was more marketing based, rather than sales based.

After four months of being a Trainee and with support and training, I had plenty of sales under my belt and I was promoted to Sales Client Manager.

I am very much a people person and really enjoy dealing with the general public and assisting them from start to finish, with their search for a new home.

There is nothing more rewarding than getting to know your clients and finding the exact property that they are looking for.

What would I tell somebody who is considering joining the company?

Do it! Joining Prospect Estate Agency is the best decision I have ever made. It’s a great working environment, challenging and very rewarding.

You are rewarded for your success and I am lucky enough to have already won Awards, even in the short time I have been here. I went to Royal Ascot for winning in Q1, a boat trip for winning 3 awards in Q2 and I am well on my way to winning one of the 2012 Annual Awards, entitling me to go on the winners trip to Miami, paid for by Prospect!

Harrison Shepherd, Assistant Manager

I joined Prospect in February 2012 and have loved every moment of the job! I work in the busy Head Office in Reading. 

‘Three years in, I started at the bottom and worked my way tirelessly up the ranks, from Trainee to Property Consultant, then to Senior Consultant and am now Valuation Manager and Investment Specialist for the head office.

My main responsibilities are generating valuations, sourcing properties for investors, communicating with vendors, networking and taking properties onto the market for the team to sell.

The passion for my career is fuelled by my endless energy and enthusiasm and my constant focus which helps me to continue to grow, to further my career and provide my clients with the ultimate service and outstanding results, time after time.

Prospect believe in progression, pushing the staff to exceed their own expectations and rewarding them for their hard work and dedication.
