We often get asked the question; “what is it like to live in the local area?” With most of our agents living locally, we’re able to tell you about our favourite places and give you a true insight on living and working in the area.
This week, we sat down with our Assistant Manager of Bracknell, Darren, to have a chat about Jennett's Park...
Why did you originally want to buy your home in Jennett’s Park?
Both my fiancée and I work locally so we wanted to find a property close to where we work. Hannah works in Crowthorne and I work in Bracknell so we found Jennett’s Park to be the perfect location for us both… we also have a dog so wanted to be somewhere where we could walk the dog and having Peacock Meadows on the doorstep was too good to turn down! As first time buyers, we didn’t have the time nor did we have the patience to find a property that needs work so a modern home was important and Jennett’s Park just seemed to tick all of the boxes.
What are the benefits of living and working in Jennett’s Park?
Knowledge is power so they say…! I’d say I know Jennett’s Park extremely well being a resident on the estate as well as working alongside the local community.
What is the Jennett’s Park property market like right now?
Excellent, it’s appealing for first time buyers as much as it is to local people who look to buy larger family homes also on the estate. We have sold more properties on the estate over the last 12 months than any other agent, of which most recently we have sold a property on Goldcrest Road within 6 days and had 2 offers!
Is there anything new or exciting you are looking forward to in Jennett’s Park?
The CO-OP!!! Finally… Some residents have been waiting for a local shop to open on the estate for 12 years!
If you have children, where is your favourite place to take them in Jennett’s Park?
Peacock Farm is always good for a Sunday lunch… It comes highly recommended.
…coffee shop: Costa
…hidden gem: Wykery Copse – a walk through the copses and the views of the bluebells in the spring and occasional deer of a morning!
…place to grab a drink: Peacock Farm
…walk in the area: Peacock Meadows
We also offer to give £250 of our selling fee to your chosen local school upon selling your property. This is just one of the many ways we give back and help support the local community.
