Way back in September 1990, two highly regarded local estate agents, Colin Wells and James May, embarked on a mission to build a property company that provided a ‘one stop shop’ and give the ultimate home moving experience through excellent service, unbeatable knowledge and valuable advice. Colin and James set upon changing the way Berkshire moved forever and Prospect was born.
Our first office was located in Charles Square in the balconies over-looking the iconic clock fountain, which prior to the redevelopment was the heart of Bracknell Town Centre. With a fresh approach and high quality service, we quickly became the talk of the town and were the only place to go for anyone considering a move in or around Bracknell. With recommendations flooding in and our client base growing daily, we needed to expand.
Fast forward to 2019, have opened a further 9 iconic offices across Berkshire, Hampshire and Surrey, whilst even relocating our Bracknell Office to a stunning Grade II listed building in the heart of the new Town Centre.
Positioned in key locations across the counties, all of our offices really do stand out! Our vibrant green LED internal displays draw the eye to our offices both day and night. We are also very proud of our connection with The Mayfair Office and their 350+ UK offices (not to mention the 100s of other offices across the rest of the world).
Despite our growing network of offices, our desire will always remain the same as it did when Colin and James first dreamt of Prospect. We want to be the best, not the biggest.
It’s been said that all estate agents are the same and we suppose that just looking from the outside, this could seem the case. However, once you actually start interacting with estate agents, either High Street or Online, you really can notice the difference. Some care, most don’t.

Prospect Academy is an intensive training course covering everything property, from taking a photo to legislation and legal matters and of course, customer service. The Academy is a highly successful staff development programme.
