In the lettings sector, we have seen the number of landlords selling their properties reduce twofold due to the draw of high rental prices and choice of good long-term tenants. I also believe that the government getting us back to normal with Section 21 notices and the wave of new legislation in tax, EPCs, and EICRs makes letting a property easier for landlords to manage. At this moment in time, the general opinion is that there is nothing better to put your money into from a capital growth point of view, especially with prices doubling every ten years and the huge increases in rental prices in most cases. With this in mind, it is a great time to be owning more than just your one residential property.
