Living in Camberley


Camberley is a picturesque town falling between the M3 and M4 on the Hampshire and Berkshire borders. Located less than 30 miles south west of London, Camberley holds great opportunity to all demographics offering excellent transport links and a rich sense of community.

Frimley is a small town just 2 miles south of Camberley. Frimley offers beautiful countryside walks at Frimley Lodge Park that has just been fitted with a brand new playground to keep the little ones happy. Frimley is also home to Frimley Hospital that was named winner of the Outstanding Achievement Healthcare Award in 2015.

Yateley is a peaceful village of mostly residential area with local business and light services industries. Yateley Green is a large outdoor centre with tennis courts, play ground and also a community hall that can be used for events – this gives Yateley a real sense of community. Alongside this Yateley also has some highly recommend pubs such as The White Lion and Ely.

Camberley offers a plethora of independent and state schools, many of which hold Ofsted’s ‘Outstanding’ status.

The world-renowned Sandhurst Military School can be found just down the road where both Prince’s were educated.

If you’re a bit of a shopaholic, Camberley has recently had a regeneration to its shopping facilitates ‘The Atrium’ which offers a range of places to dine and has a variety of shops and department stores. That will be sure to satisfy your shopaholic needs.

Leisure facilities

The Arena is Camberley’s local leisure centre, with a gym, pool and various other facilities available however this will be shutting in late summer 2019 for a huge £22 million regeneration to improve all the facilities to make sure you’re working out in style.

Things to do

Are you desperate to walk that energetic puppy? Why not visit Virginia Waters with 5.5 mile walk around the lake! You could even hire a Segway!

Fancy some water sports fun water sports? Head to Horse Shoe Lake to get the beach feeling at home with a choice of water sports from Jet Ski’s to wakeboarding and so much more.

Planning your next date night? Why not book a getaway at Penny Hill Park, a beautiful manor situated in acres of land with great facilities such as a pool and everything you need to wow your loved one.

Head out of town

If you want to venture further afield, Farnham Castle which was built in 1138 and now is a multi- awardwinning wedding venue. The castle groups are kept to an immaculate standard with beautiful tress garden huts, roses and lavender.

Camberley is great for commuters with an excellent selection of road links to London, Reading, Guildford and Windsor.

Development/Regeneration


Camberley has plans for a £310m regeneration with infrastructure to regenerate the town and add a more efficient multi-story car park as well as build a new residential area.

The car park will boost the town parking provision with an extra 3,000 spaces within just a 5 minute walk of the town centre.

Good news for commuters the new development has plans to add new motorway links in order to reach London faster than ever.
